SPYDER
The 2017 Lamborghini Huracán Spyder is more than just a high-performance convertible to me—it’s a deeply personal symbol of creativity and legacy. Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, it delivers 610 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 413 lb-ft of torque at 6,500 rpm. With its 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and either all-wheel drive (LP 610-4) or rear-wheel drive (LP 580-2), it can rocket from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 201 mph. The ANIMA system (Adaptive Network Intelligence MAnagement) lets me choose between STRADA, SPORT, and CORSA driving modes depending on how I want the car to respond.
But beyond the specs, this particular Huracán Spyder holds sentimental value. It was originally built and ordered in 2017 by a close family friend who has since passed away. Delivered straight from Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, the car features a custom factory exhaust system that produces a terrifyingly raw yet beautifully tuned sound—one that enhances its aggressive aesthetic and constantly inspires me. The interior, with its white stitching, was designed with precision. Every detail—from the seatbelts and dashboard to the floor mats—had to organically match, creating a cohesive visual flow that continues to spark creative ideas. For me, this car isn’t just a machine—it’s a legacy and a source of continuous artistic energy.

THE look
The Lamborghini Huracán Spyder had been left untouched in an underground garage for almost two years, slowly gathering dust after the heartbreaking loss of its owner. It was more than just a car — it was a symbol of his passion, frozen in time. When his beloved wife offered me the opportunity to revive it, I knew this wasn’t just about restoration. It was about legacy.
My goal was simple yet deeply personal: to honor his vision. I made a promise to preserve everything he had crafted, leaving all of his original choices exactly as they were. Every change I made was designed to complement his work — not to overwrite it, but to let it breathe again.
What stands before you now is not a transformation, but a rebirth. A carefully revived machine that continues to carry the soul of its first owner — now ready to write a new chapter, while never forgetting the one before it.
Interior
The interior has played a crucial role in the car’s design from the very beginning, but it quickly became clear that focusing solely on the seats wasn’t enough. To truly bring the vision to life, every element had to be part of a unified composition—from the steering wheel and seatbelts to the floor mats and trim. Each detail was intentionally designed to flow together as one cohesive piece.
The team at “Powewheels,” who are individually passionate about their craft, were kind enough to create a one-of-a-kind piece for the car—starting with a custom rendering in Blender and finishing with precision laser cutting. I’ve had the pleasure of working with them throughout the process, and they’ve never disappointed. Their flexibility and dedication to bringing the customer’s vision to life made them an essential part of this project.

Exterior
Being able to adapt to the car’s original body colorways is one of my key strengths. Rather than completely altering the overall look, I focus on adding subtle details that complement and enhance the existing design. These small touches often make the biggest difference in achieving a cohesive and successful aesthetic. You can see my progress below.
